South Africa’s Mother City, Cape Town, has so many VW Golfs roaming the streets, but making yours different, to completely stand out from the crowd, can be a mission at times.
Some people prefer to use their VW Golf Mk1 as their daily ride for their work commute, others slam out their rides, certain guys decide to go the bass route, while some prefer the OEM look. But in the case of Diego Davy, he merely wanted some of everything.
Diego is one of the Cape Town Car Enthusiasts who loves the scene for what it is. From the friends, the braais and of course the cars – including the shows that goes with it.
He named his car Rooi Meit, for the body coast obviously. But he just loves this meit.
Diego shares his story of the Cape Town Car Scene from where he started off, to the many accomplishments he gained whilst roaming the Cape Town Streets, including memories connected.
